Married At First Sight Australia star Elizabeth Sobinoff is expecting her first child with her husband, Alex Vega.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in late January, before announcing their pregnancy four months later. Recently she’s announced that IT’S A GIRL!

The MAFS star has been candid about her experience as a pregnant person, saying in a recent post that she has been “feeling down lately.”

“Good days and not so good days, you are allowed to ‘feel,'” she said. “We often talk about postpartum depression, but what about during the pregnancy?”

In the accompanying video footage, she said: “When I took this I was feeling so good about myself. I was like, ‘Oh yes, mama’.”

She continued: “Today is not quite the same experience. I’m feeling quite crappy if I’m completely honest but let’s normalise that this is completely normal, being pregnant or not being pregnant.”

“It’s not about being ungrateful for life it’s sometimes we feel really good and sometimes we don’t.”

Lizzie has been open with fans about her pregnancy.

The MAFS star first shared the news of her pregnancy in May, with a series of photos showing off her growing baby bump. She accompanied the post with a caption that asked fans to stop leaving comments about her body.

“Looking at some of these comments in the last few posts I’ve done,” Lizzie wrote on Instagram.

“Always so much focus on a woman’s body (I’ve had more than my fair share) I’m navigating my body right now, so many changes, especially internally (I’ve been pretty sick).

“I also understand so many people are excited. So am I!!!! It’s an exciting time in our (my partner) lives right now. I’ll talk about my experience with it in the future. Mama bear is just nesting right now.”

Lizzie has been open with her many Instagram followers about her journey, including her latest update on her struggles with feeling good during pregnancy.

“Sometimes we feel really good and sometimes we don’t.”
