Channel Seven is launching a new renovation series in 2024, called Dream Home and none other than Dr Chris Brown will be hosting the new series!
TV Blackbox first reported that Endemol Shine Australia published a casting call for enthusiastic contestants to compete in a new and at-the-time untitled renovation series.

Dream Home, launching in 2024, will see six teams renovate suburban family homes into the ultimate dream house. Judging the final products will be buyer’s agent Simon Cohen from Luxe Listings Sydney, interior designer Rosie Morley and renovator Lana Taylor.
And while the series sounds like The Block 2.0, the concept was developed prior to the Channel Nine renovation show and is based off New Zealand’s Mitre 10 Dream Home. This version, hosted by Jayne Kiely and Simon Barnett, launched in 1999 and was successful for 11 seasons before its timely end in 2013.
“Two couples are challenged to show the country whether or not they are able to work well together, they turn a dilapidated house into their Dream Home,” its description read.
Speaking on his new project, Chris revealed he cannot wait to combine wildlife and home on-screen.
“To be able to bring my world of animals to life in an original, adventurous and breathtaking way truly excites me,” he said.
“I can’t wait for the world’s wildlife and the search for Australia’s best Dream Home to land in our lounge rooms in 2024.”

After nine seasons hosting Channel Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia, Chris said his final goodbyes during the 2023 finale. The lovable vet will officially join Seven on July 1.
Prior to this confirmation, it was believed Chris would be reviving renovation series House Rules.
