What are your plans for Christmas 2023?

This Christmas is all about family time. I love summer in Sydney and it’s a great opportunity to enjoy quality time, relaxing and enjoying the people you love most.

With Christmas just around the corner, do you have any tips for last minute shopping?

Don’t rush and don’t get stressed out. Christmas is a time to prioritise what’s important. The people you love just want to know you care about them. Remember it’s always the thought that counts, not expensive gifts – you can even pick up some amazing thoughtful, yet small gifts at the supermarket when you’re doing your Christmas shop. Cadbury’s Christmas Chocolates are a favourite in my household so they’re always top of my shopping list.

I also really love to support brands that are doing good, so it’s a no brainer to purchase your chocolates from Cadbury this year because they are helping to feed hungry families by donating one million meals with SecondBite.

What is on your Christmas wish list this year?

I always love books, yummy chocolate treats, candles, facials, massages and eating out.

Christmas traditions can look very different for each family – Christmas movies, opening one present on Christmas Eve, a particular Christmas dish. What is your favourite Christmas tradition?

One of our most treasured Christmas Traditions is listening to Marah Carey music on Christmas Eve then watching Love Actually with a selection of our favourite Chocolates. Jonas loves the Cadbury Dairy Milk Santas and I just loveee Cadbury’s new Deluxe Hazelnuts. There is nothing better than a little indulgence at Christmas – who is with me!

Your son is nearly a teenager, is there anything you miss about celebrating Christmas with a little Johnas?

Yes! The cat has been out of the bag for a couple of years in regards to Santa. I’m sad about that as I feel a little of the magic has now gone. We no longer leave out food for Santa, write him letters with our wish list, I guess the good thing is I’m not getting up in the middle of the night to leave crumbs on the floor and take bites out of chocolates and cookies hahaha.

What is your favourite Christmas dish that every family should incorporate this year?

My watermelon and halloumi salad, it’s perfect on a hot summer’s day! And any dessert with Chocolate, I’m a sucker for a sweet treat.

What is your fondest Christmas memory?

One year mum, my brother and I had a family trip up to the Gold Coast, it was the first time we’d ever been there. For Christmas Day we just had a picnic on the beach, it was so nice just having the three of us celebrating Christmas.
