It’s been more than 26 years since The Nanny first aired on the 3rd of November 1993. From that day on, fans came to know and love the ‘flashy girl from Flushing’, Miss Fran Fine, and the Sheffield family she so lovingly cared for.

Fran Drescher (Fran Fine)

The 60-year-old actress went on to star in two more sitcoms after the hit show, playing lead roles in Living with Fran (2005–2006) and Happily Divorced (2011–2013).

Nowdays, she can be heard voicing Eunice in the animated film series Hotel Transylvania, or seen appearing in Season 4 of Broad City. She also created the Cancer Schmancer Movement in 2007, following her battle with uterine cancer.

Charles Shaughnessy (Max Sheffield)

After The Nanny, Charles moved on to appear in several shows including The Mentalist, Mad Men, and Saints & Sinners.

He was most recently seen in Masters of Sex and The Magicians. He made a guest appearance on Fran’s sitcom Living With Fran in 2005, and the pair remain close today.

Lauren Lane (C.C. Babcock)

After The Nanny ended in 1999, Lauren retired from television to focus on the theatre. She’s now a full-time lecturer at Texas State University and has played notable roles in several productions at the Zachary Scott Theatre Centre in Austin, Texas.

Daniel Davis (Niles)

After years of playing the sassy butler on the hit show, Daniel tried his hand at guest roles on several shows, including Frasier and Ugly Betty.

He had a role in Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige, and scored a Tony Award nomination for his role in Wrong Mountain. Most recently, he had guest roles on hit shows Gotham and The Blacklist.

Nicholle Tom (Maggie Sheffield)

After The Nanny, Nicholle continued to work as an actress with small roles in shows including Criminal Minds, Castle and Masters of Sex. She recently appeared in teen comedy F the Prom as the school’s principal.

Benjamin Salisbury (Brighton Sheffield)

The actor chose to retreat from the spotlight after his role on The Nanny, appearing in only two more productions. He made a guest appearance on Numb3rs in 2005 and appeared in the short film On the Brink in 2006.

Madeline Zima (Grace Sheffield)

She was the adorable little sister of the Sheffield siblings, but she’s blossomed in to one of the most successful cast members. Madeline starred in shows including Californication, Heroes, The Vampire Diaries and Betas. She recently scored a role in the re-boot of Twin Peaks and has a part in the upcoming Nicole Kidman film Bombshell.
