Life in danger
This week on Neighbours, a heavily pregnant Paige went into labour in the worst place possible – the shack where her baby was conceived!
The only support available was Susan, who was suffering from the effects of the painkiller Finn swapped with her vitamins, and Piper, who has a broken leg.
When Susan realised that Paige’s waters had broken and she couldn’t move, Susan staggered off to get help.
But things turned dire when Susan passed out in the car, leaving Piper to drive –broken leg and all! – away from the shack in order to get mobile reception.
Luckily, Karl and Jack were already on their way to the area, as they were concerned that the girls had been gone for so long.
Jack and Karl rushed to Paige’s aid.
Karl quickly delivered Paige’s baby (a boy!), but things soon went downhill when Paige collapsed from exhaustion and blood loss.
The new mother was rushed to surgery whilst Jack received the news that their baby was in the clear.
Later, a worried Lauren arrived from Queensland to the news that Paige’s surgery went well and she was on the road to recovery.
All’s well that ends well!
Finn takes over
Following Paige’s dramatic birth, Susan was also admitted to hospital, as Karl was worried that her MS had flared up again.
The pair was shocked to find traces of a powerful painkiller in Susan’s blood and they wondered how it got there.
As Karl and Susan struggled with the revelation, Finn popped into Susan’s hospital room with a bunch of flowers.
To make matters worse, he also made sure that Susan knew that he had taken over as acting principal in her absence, as well as making arrangements to hold a fundraiser for MS at the school. Poor Susan!
Finn visit was not welcomed by Karl and Susan.
A new low
Meanwhile, the drama continued with Sonya this week when she went missing!
Things started off positively, as Sonya decided it was time to check into rehab, leaving Toadie hopeful that the pair could work things out.
But it was all downhill from there when Toadie called to see how Sonya was settling in and he was informed that she had checked herself out!
Toadie’s panic reached new heights when he then received a letter from Sonya that said she was transferring her Power of Attorney to him, as well as a note which inferred that she wouldn’t be returning.
Will Toadie be able to track down Sonya before she runs off the rails again?
Can Toadie help Sonya and reunite his family?
