Giuliana and Bill Rancic can’t wait till their little boy Duke has a baby sibling!
The couple have always been vocal about their struggles to conceive. Telling Closer Weekly Bill brought to light the issues he and his wife are facing.
“We’re always thinking about it. Obviously we’ve had our challenges – that’s no secret. With Giuliana having battled breast cancer, that was a little bit of a setback for us,” he said.
“We’re definitely looking at all of our options and one day hopefully we’ll give Duke a brother or a sister,” he added.
The Fashion Police star married Bill in 2007 and starred in their reality series Giuliana & Bill. It was through their show they opened up to the world about their struggles to have a child through IVF.
In 2011 Giuliana was faced with more adversity when she was diagnosed and battled with breast cancer. A year later, the couple became proud parents to their first child Duke via a surrogate. Unfortunately for the new parents, their surrogate suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with their second child.
Despite the uphill battle they’ve faced with expanding their family, the determined duo are set to continue trying. And it seems there’s someone else equally as excited – Duke!
“He’s mentioned he wants a sister,” Bill said.
In the face of all these hardships, Bill and Giuliana have paved out fantastic careers while always putting their family first.
“We have one simple rule in our house and that’s family first,” Bill explained.
“And that rule doesn’t get negotiated, it doesn’t get compromised, it’s family first and then everything else falls into place.”
