Meet the cast of Doctor Doctor
Hugh Knight and co are in for another dose of drama in season two.
Rodger Corser as Hugh: Party-boy and heart surgeon Hugh Knight has arrogance and self confidence in spades. But he struggles to adapt to the small town clinic he is transferred to.
Nicole Da Silva as Charlie: We know her best as Franky from Wentworth, but here she is Matt’s wife, not to mention Hugh’s ex! She’s also a school teacher.
Steve Bisley as Jim:
Legendary Steve is well-known for roles in Mad Max and later Water Rats. In this show, he’s the Knight family patriarch.
Ryan Johnson as Matt: The former Love Child actor portrays Hugh’s younger brother, Matt. He’s the driving force behind the successful brewery.
Tina Bursill as Meryl: Tina is best known for her roles in Skyways, Prisoner and Neighbours. Hugh’s mother is a prominent member of the local council.
Hayley McElhinney as Penny: Yes, she is Mandy McElhinney’s sister. She plays Hugh’s supervisor, Penny, at the medical clinic in the series.
Angus McLaren as Dr Toke: Know the name? Angus was last seen on screens four years ago as Nathan Rafter in Packed To The Rafters. Now he's joined the cast of Doctor Doctor. Here, he plays charismatic ex-army medic Dr Toke. He also has a thing for Penny – wonder where that leaves Hugh?
Helen Thomson as Nora: Nora comes in as Penny's (Hayley McElhinney) replacement but she is a stern boss who won't fall for Hugh's smooth talking.
Brittany Clark as Mia: With Aoife (Shalom Brune-Franklin) gone, new nurse Mia is a welcome addition at Whyhope Hospital. Straight-talking and stunning, she’ll keep Hugh on his toes.
