Beau Ryan has signed on to join the cast of Network 10’s new series Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway.
The former NRL footballer and television presenter is joining the hosts in the new program, when it premieres in 2019.
The variety series is an Australian adaptation of the UK’s Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
The show is described as a fast-paced, high energy live show, packed with outrageous fun, massive surprises, exciting challenges, celebrity guests and big entertainment values.
Chris Brown and Julia Morris are welcoming Beau Ryan to the Sunday Night Takeaway team.
Hosts Julia Morris and Chris Brown will ensure their viewers head in to the working week with a big smile on their face, with the help of their new presenter Beau.
He’ll be sharing the floor with the hosts in-studio, but Beau will also be the show’s man on the ground coming to audiences from locations across Australia.
Beau – who previously appeared on Nine’s The NRL Footy Show before its cancellation – says he is ‘excited’ to be joining the show, and the network.
“I’m super excited to be involved in one of the biggest shows of the year with two of the most likeable people in Australia,” he says. “I am pumped to join the 10 family and start this next chapter.”
