Pink has been having a moment this decade ever since ‘millennial pink’ became the shade du jour for trend pieces—but it’s been a favourite of monarchies across the globe for decades.

Queen Elizabeth II has sported it time and time again over her years on the throne and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge dons coats and dresses in everything from fuchsia to pale pink.
