Duchess Catherine and Prince William have wrapped up their three-day tour of the UK with a very special royal reunion.

The pair have travelled the UK via The Royal Train, stopping off in numerous cities across the country and spreading Christmas cheer as they go.

And while the trip has been filled with plenty of sweet anecdotes, glorious outfits and candid moments, it was the ending that’s really stolen the entire show.

After a whirlwind third day of their tour, Prince William and Duchess Catherine surprised royal fans by making their final stop off in Windsor… where some very special family members were waiting for them.

Indeed, The Queen, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Sophie of Wessex and more were awaiting them as they arrived at the iconic British castle.

A special family reunion awaited Kate and William as they ended their three day train tour.

The family stood socially distanced on the steps as a band played Christmas songs.

At one point, the Queen could be seen singing along with the music.

The Wessexes also joined in the festive celebrations.

Earlier in the day, Kate was wearing a beautiful festive red Alexander McQueen coat, but for the evening event, she changed into her stunning green Catherine Walker coat.

The Queen meanwhile wore a very apt bright red ensemble.

The family stood socially distanced throughout the event.

This wraps up the end of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s surprise tour of the UK.

Day three of the tour saw them visit Cardiff Castle, Bath and Berkshire hospital before ending up at Windsor Castle.

The Berkshire hospital stop off was particularly special given it was where the Duchess was born back in 1981.

It’s been a whirlwind few days for Kate and William, who will no doubt be thrilled to now return home to their children.

The royals will be spending Christmas in a non-traditional way low-key way this year after it was revealed the Queen and Phillip would forgo their usual holiday in Sandringham due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

That said, it was certainly a thrill to see the family reunited today – despite it all, Christmas is most definitely not cancelled.
