The Prince George and Prince Charlotte effect is real, and if you want to get your hands on the mini-royal's adorable arrival looks, then you better get in quick!
Prince George and Princess Charlotte

The Cambridges were a vision in blue as they touched down in Canada on Saturday for day one of their first royal tour as a family of four.

And while the spotlight is usually on Duchess Catherine and her continually flawless choice of outfits, it was Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s ensembles that had parents furiously googling!

Adorable George stepped off the plane holding the hands of his mum and dad, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

He made a fabulous first impression in a preppy look made up entirely from one of Kate’s favourite children’s wear retailers, Pepa & Co.

In the navy! The family that dresses together…

The three-year-old looked as cute as a button in a sky-blue, long-sleeved jumper with wooden button detailing and a white and beige checkered skirt.

The blonde tot completed his outfit with a pair of woolen winter shorts, also available from the Spanish retailer, dark navy knee-high socks and shoes.

“Once again, I feel honoured that the Duchess of Cambridge has selected our brand of Spanish clothing for Prince George’s outfit on his arrival in Canada,” Pepa Gonzalez, founder of Kate’s favourite label, told People.

“I love how the whole family are colour coordinated in shades of blue – they look adorable,” she added.

George last wore a Pepa & Co jumper for his third birthday portraits, and just hours later, the label had hundred of orders!

Naturally, parents, aunties, grandparents, godparents and friends immediately took to Google in a bid to find out how they could possibly get their hands on the mini-Prince’s look.

They soon discovered that The Prince George Effect was indeed a real thing after several of his garments sold out in a matter of hours!

The $65 shirt and $70 jumper are now both available after a quick restock, while the $64 winter shorts are also listed for purchase.

But those who are interested in nabbing a pair of George’s Start-rite leather shoes, which sell for $94, might be disappointed to discover that they have sold out in many sizes.

Prince George also won praise for his adorable knee-high socks from Amaia, which have fast become a trademark accessory and only cost around $13.

At a total cost of around $306, George’s look certainly was fit for a future king!

The three-year-old’s knee-high socks can be found at Amaia for just $13.

Princess Charlotte certainly got the blue memo, and showed off an absolutely stunning look that perfectly complimented that of her mum’s as she was cradled down the stairs of the aircraft.

The 16-month-old, who looked the spitting image of her great-grandmother The Queen, donned a pretty embroidered sundress that similarly resembled the $55 frock, which she wore for her first birthday portraits, which were released this May.

The blue floral dress is estimated to be by another creation by favourite Spanish label, M&H, which also happens to be a go-to brand of nanny Maria Borrallo.

Charlotte’s dress is yet to be found by royal spotters, however many have noted similarities to her first portrait frock!

Charlotte’s tiny feet were adorned with a pair of M&H’s Mercedes shoes, and her light brunette locks were swept away with her signature Amaia bow, worth $4.30.

We cannot wait to see what other outfits mum Catherine has lined up for her darling kids when they attend a children’s party on Thursday September 29.

The celebration, held in the honour of military families, is scheduled to take place in the morning at Government House in Victoria, British Columbia.

The mother-daughter duo were beautiful in blue!
