Mike Tindall has made an embarrassing blunder in his brand-new podcast, much to the chagrin of his wife of 12 years Zara.

The former professional rugby player made the error during the very first episode of ‘Mike Drop’, on which Zara guest starred.

Discussing everything from the recent appearance on Australia’s Gold Coast for Magic Millions, to Zara’s Olympian equestrian accomplishments, to their childhoods, children and plans for the future.

Mike and Zara were married in 2011, NOT 2012 as Mike has claimed.

They also spoke fondly of their own wedding day in 2011, and that’s when Mike made an error of mammoth proportions….

‘In 2012, you married a legend,” he told his wife proudly.

”Who said that,” Zara mocked, ”didn’t we get married in 2011?!?”

Closing his eyes and chuckling as he realised his faux pas, Mike responded: ”Yes, we did!” as Zara leaned forward laughing.

The happy couple welcomed their first daughter, Mia, in 2014.

For those who need a reminder like Mike, the Tindalls married on July 30th 2011 at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland before enjoying a star studded reception at Holyrood Palace at the foot of Arthur’s Seat.

Since then, they’ve welcomed three children together: Mia, 9, Lena, 4, and most recently little Lucas who will be turning two in March this year.

Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Rugb‪y podcast, proud father Mike said at the time: ”Sunday got even better because a little baby boy arrived at my house. Arrived very quickly. Didn’t make it to hospital. On the bathroom floor!”

He told listeners: ”So yeah, it was running to the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get the mat on the floor, towels down, brace, brace, brace.”

They now share three children together.

Mike also spoke about Lucas’ birth during his appearance on I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here.

”Lucas was rapid,” he told campmates.

”Third one. As we got our stuff to go to hospital, she got out of the bath, she could barely stand, she was shaking. The midwife was like, ‘She’s not making the hospital.”’

The experience was incredibly painful for Zara, but it also turned out that Mike suffered some discomfort.

”She almost choked me to death,” he joked.

”You can’t say anything can you? ‘Can you let go, you’re really hurting me?!”’
