Meghan Markle seen in tears as she watched the Queen’s procession

There was plenty of emotional faces among the crowd at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, including the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle who was seen wiping away tears as she watched the Queen’s procession.

Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry were seen travelling together to the Queen’s funeral. But due to the formal procession Harry was obligated to be part of, the married couple were forced to enter separately.

During the sermon at the Queen’s funeral, the two sat side-by-side.

Meghan was seen in tears as the Queen’s coffin was transferred into the State Hearse at Wellington Arch, before the monarch departs for London for the final time. Afterwards, her coffin will travel to Windsor Castle in Berkshire.

The Queen will be laid to rest in St George’s Chapel, where her beloved husband Prince Philip will be exhumed and buried next to her.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s choice to depart the British royal family in early 2020, resulted in the couple walking behind Kate Middleton and Prince William’s children Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince George of Wales.

Since news spread of Queen Elizabeth’s death, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have dove back into the royal world.

According to Kensington Palace, the couple were invited by Prince William and Kate to the walkaround at Windsor Castle to mourn their ‘granny’s’ passing and greet royal fans in the crowd.

Fans were shocked to see the Fab Four reunited, but the meeting may have appeared more charming than it truly was as a body language expert revealed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are more “like a couple at war.”

A source told People that the public gesture “was an important show of unity at an incredibly difficult time for the family.”

Prior to the Queen’s death, the last time Prince Harry and Meghan both publicly met with the British royal family was during the Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations earlier this year.
