As she celebrates her 44th birthday, the regal beauty has shown she is as graceful as she is fun.

Her life became a literal fairytale when she fell for Denmark’s Prince Frederik back in 2000. In 2004, the pair tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.

Leading a life of charmed perfection, Mary and Fred are the proud parents of four adorable children: Prince Christian, ten, Princess Isabella, eight, and their cheeky five-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.

She might be leading a life of a future Queen, but the 44-year-old has maintained her Aussie roots.

Whether it is through her commanding presence, her sense of style or being Denmark’s coolest mum – Princess Mary has got it going on.

It’s only fitting that in celebration of her 44th birthday we look back at her encompassing moments that made us all go “wow!”
