Sure, the residents of Home and Away‘s Summer Bay are famous for their explosive fights, affairs, and rogue criminal dealings.
The iconic Aussie show is a soap after all, so you can’t really be surprised when the drama makes you jump, gasp or even make your skin crawl.
But another facet of the show induces quite the opposite of this reaction – and there’s no question as to why.
Babies – and lots of them.
Yes, Home and Away has welcomed many a cute tot over its 30-plus year history.
From surrogate mums, surprise pregnancies and single parents proving they can do it on their own, the narratives of Summer Bay’s newborns are pretty much always a happy escape from the doom and gloom that often surrounds the quirky characters.
That’s why we decided to wrap up all the cutest and most charming babies welcomed on the show from years gone by.
So while many of the show’s story lines can get a little heavy, we’ve still got these adorable little faces to remind us that there’s a lot of good in their world…
Leah VJ
Long-time character Leah Patterson welcomed little VJ back in the early 2000s. The young lad would grow up to be a beloved character (with his own little bub to look after! But more on that later…)
Tamara
Way way back in the day, young Sophie Simpson gave birth to baby Tamara in a whirlwind labour (circa 1992). Played by twins Emily and Chloe Hutton, the adorable little tot was a welcome addition to the screen.
Robbie and Tasha
Who could forget Robbie and Tasha, whose adorable baby Ella stole their hearts when she arrived onscreen in 2006. Unfortunately, her time was short lived on the show, as Tasha and Robbie decided to move to Boston soon after her birth. Who knows, maybe the now teenage Ella will make a comeback one of these days…
Relive Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas starring together on Home and Away
Casey 2
Viewers’ hearts broke when beloved character Casey Braxton was killed off, but they were partially mended again when his older brother Darryl Braxton and partner Ricky welcomed their child, who they named after his late uncle.
Casey
Little Casey II was ridiculously cute – and the pictures are case in point.

Luc Patterson
VJ Patterson, son of Leah, soon welcomed a little one of his own to Summer Bay. Well almost… When VJ’s wife Billie welcomed daughter Luc, it was revealed her real father was Mick Jennings – who traumatically raped Billie in a shock storyline.
VJ Luc 2
Billie sadly died of cancer shortly after her daughter’s birth, and admirably VJ continued to make sure baby Luc was kept out of reach of the dangerous Mick. He eventually left the bay for Cyprus, where Leah’s and his own extended family resided.
Tori Grace
Home and Away‘s newest addition is almost too cute for words. Tori Morgan welcomed baby Grace in 2020 as a solo mum, after undergoing IVF with fellow resident, Robbo.
Grace
While dad Robbo sadly passed away in a car accident a few weeks later, Grace is still doted over by Tori, and the rest of Summer Bay.
