Andy Lee and his long-time girlfriend Rebecca Harding are currently living their best lives holidaying in sunny Europe but there’s one question fans can’t stop asking.
With such a romantic backdrop, fans are impatiently waiting for the TV and radio personality to pop the question and they’re not shy about letting him know!
Could this be the trip where Andy Lee pops the question?
(Image: Instagram)After Andy shared a series of pictures and videos of himself and Bec on the picturesque Greek island of Santorini, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the setting was perfect for a proposal.
“This stinks of an incoming proposal. Eyes peeled for a small hinged box,” one person penned.
“@andytomlee is sooo going to propose to Bec on this trip,” stated another.
Others were a little more direct and questioned why Andy is still yet to propose.
“No ring after all these years,” one follower couldn’t help but note.
“Ring 💍 time ??????” another suggested.
Andy and Rebecca have been facing engagement rumours throughout their relationship.
The couple met in 2014 when the then 24-year-old Bec was working as a waitress in a Melbourne cafe and Andy was writing material for the TV WEEK Logie Awards.
“She was attractive – but it was more her bubbly personality and how she wasn’t good at her job,” Andy recalled to the Sydney Morning Herald.
“She’d leave a table knowing about the person’s grandchildren or dog, but forget their order. I ordered cups of tea I never drank and eventually left a note on a napkin.”
The move worked and Bec sent Andy an email with her number and he called her within five minutes of receiving it.
“She was very surprised; she was used to people texting, not calling. She told me she was two weeks away from finishing her master’s degree for the year. I said, ‘That’s a Tuesday. I’ll call you on the Saturday and tell you where I’m going to take you.’ And we went out Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday.”
However in 2017, Andy confessed that whilst his fans are begging him to pop the question, it’s not a massive priority.
“No one is putting any pressure on me for a wedding,” he previously told TV WEEK.
“We have a completely different approach in our family and that doesn’t bother us at all.”
As for babies, we may be waiting a while for a pregnancy announcement.
“We have seen some advantages to not having children!” he joked to radio duo Fitzy and Wippa in the thick of lockdown in 2020.
