Sophie Monk and her long-term boyfriend Joshua Gross are engaged.
The Love Island host took to her Instagram on Friday afternoon to share the happy news – and a decent glimpse of the sparkler her fiancee picked out.
“Told you I’d tell you guys first💍🙌 I’m engaged,” Sophie said in the caption, alongside a pic of her and Joshua embracing with her sparkly diamond ring on show.
“I honestly can’t thank you enough for all the love and support. I know I have the coolest people following me and you’ve always had my back and I feel so cared about. You’re absolute bloody legends. I’m not very good at being mushy. I’m trying to say I absolutely adore you.😍”
She then spoke about Joshua and the special ring he’d given her.
“@joshuargross and I are so happy. Josh designed a very personal ring with my favourite Aussie designer @luke_rose_jewellery and I LOVE IT ❤️”
Sophie’s fans and friends immediately took to her Instagram platform to congratulate her.
Celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson wrote: “Congratulations! So happy for you both.”
While fellow social star Tegan Martin wrote: “Woooooo! Congratulations Soph, you deserve ALL the happiness and love in the world.”
I’m A Celebrity‘s Jack Vidgen also shared his well wishes with Sophie, writing: “Omg congrats gorgeous xxx.”
Sophie and Joshua are living their happily ever after together.

“I wasn’t comfortable with myself and would choose people who weren’t right for me,” the Love Island host confessed to TV WEEK previously.
“When you don’t feel good about yourself, you attract the wrong thing or you look for somebody to fulfil you. But you need to meet someone who’s a bonus to you, not someone to fix you. That took me ages [to realise].”
It looks like that’s exactly what Sophie quickly found.
Speaking of moving in with Joshua, Sophie said the experience wasn’t what she expected.
“I’ve never had someone move in with me – ever. I love it. I wake up, he gets me coffee… It’s so nice having him there. He’s perfect,” she said.
In November, Woman’s Day reported that Joshua had picked up a ring for Sophie.
As per a source, Joshua, a marketing executive, surprised Sophie with an engagement ring with a hidden halo, which he designed with the help of the TV star’s favourite jeweller Luke Rose – and it’s estimated to cost a cool $25,000.
“Josh picked up the ring in Sydney last week and then surprised her by popping the question,” the source said.
Josh popped the question to Sophie last year, according to sources.

After a few champagnes, the former Bachelorette even leaned in for a kiss.
“I just sat down and he had a sense of humour and I was like, ‘Oh, how relieving, sitting next to someone you can have a chat with’,” Sophie told 9Honey.
“It was like, ‘Good sense of humour, hard worker’… it just happened.”
