Rebecca Judd has taken to Instagram to share her own rendition of an iconic Women’s Weekly children’s cake which was originally designed to look like a duck, but her version is a bit more… mutilated.

Bec wears a lot of hats as a model, television presenter, speech pathologist, mum, lifestyle blogger and wife to former Australian Football League player Chris Judd.

But sadly, she is not as skilled in the artistic baking department, though we’re sure the cake tastes better than it looks!

Bec shared this image to her Instagram.

She captioned the Instagram story, “Duck cake fail.”

“This was the reference just so you all know I’m not completely bonkers,” she captioned the following story which featured a screenshot of the cake as it appears in the cartoon Bluey.

It’s believed the Bluey cake was also modelled on the Women’s Weekly original – even as a cartoon, the similarities are undeniable.

Despite this more recent baking fail, Bec has shared some amazing recipes which her fans absolutely died for.

The Australian blogger took to social media in 2020 to share her chocolate chip cookie recipe, which used the foundation of the classic recipe but with a secret ingredient.

Close enough.

“My best ever choc chip cookie recipe is baaaaaack… with a twist!” Bec wrote at the time.

“I have substituted the milk choc chips for a block and a half of Caramilk chocolate chopped into chunks.”

“These cookies were already in the ‘best ever tier’ due to the x-factor ingredients of condensed milk plus coconut,” she revealed before adding: “But the Caramilk makes these babies next level.”

In an exclusive interview with Now to Love, Bec mentioned she leveled up her baking skills while stuck in lockdown with her children.

“I’m currently home schooling four kids so every day is a little bit crazy,” she admitted.

“I’m trying to mix up screen time with baking, getting outside for bike rides, nature walks, music and movie time.

Bec found it difficult to juggle her work life and being a mum in lockdown, but said she found a way to adjust.

“It’s pretty hard to get any work done with four kids home schooling, and keeping on top of the house,” Bec revealed.

“It’s not ideal but we have to pivot in these strange times, and I won’t be working like this forever.”
