They have been the best of friends ever since bonding on Studio 10, but Jessica Rowe and Denise Drysdale have taken their relationship to the next level – and the results are nothing short of hilarious!
The two friends are sharing lots of laughs.
(Image: Supplied)The two TV stars are sharing a house together after Denise took up Jess’ offer to lodge free of charge at the Sydney home she shares with Nine newsreader Peter Overton, 57, and their two daughters, Allegra, 16, and Giselle, 14.
Jess, who celebrated her 53rd birthday last week, invited Ding Dong to stay whenever she’s in Sydney to film Studio 10 after she relocated to the Gold Coast.
And “thrifty” Denise, 74, jumped at the opportunity and even earns her keep cooking for the family, which mates claim has made Pete happy after years of his wife’s “crap” meals.
“Pete loves it when Denise stays and cooks,” jokes one mate, who insists Jess really isn’t such a bad cook these days, despite building her crap housewife brand on the back of her infamous kitchen disasters.
“Anyone who knows Denise knows she hates to waste money, and they really are the best of mates, so it made sense. Can you imagine the laughs coming out of that house? I reckon they should make a reality TV show of it!”

(Image: Instagram)Jess seems to be revelling in the arrangement, posting a hilarious video of herself, dressed in pyjamas, a dressing gown and silver chauffeur’s cap, dropping Denise, who was a vision in red, at Studio 10.
“When I swap Mubering for my limo duties dropping Neesy to @studio10au. Petee is appalled I wear my pjs for such an important role,” Jess wrote on Instagram.
In another post Jess compared Denise to “Heidi Klum’s great grandmother”, before reassuring fans that it was “Neesy” herself who came up with the comparison.
At least Jess and Pete have plenty of room to accommodate Denise after splashing more than $11 million on a ritzy Vaucluse mansion!
The duo are having loads of fun.
