There’s so much to love about Easter – the extra long weekend, trips away, family barbecues and, of course, chocolate.

And with COVID restrictions now a thing of the past, we were finally able to celebrate Easter like old times.

While some of our favourite Aussie stars opted for a low-key long weekend, others went all-out with elaborate Easter egg hunts for their little ones.

Many also took the opportunity to fly interstate to spend quality time with their extended families.

Home and Away alum Tammin Sursok posed for this sweet photo alongside her daughters Phoenix and Lennon – and of course, the Easter Bunny.

The mother-of-two also shared a hilarious yet relatable parenting dilemma after struggling to find Easter eggs for her girls.

“The Easter bunny hasn’t come yet because the elevator broke down last night where we were staying and all the stores were closed once we were able to get out the building!!” she wrote on Instagram.

“So we told them that apparently the Easter bunny doesn’t like to climb 7 flights of stairs because he has sore legs from visiting all the kids and at lunch, if we are out, he said he’d come. 😂 Here is to the parents trying to make it all work! 😂”
