While Matt Agnew continues to um and ah over the stunning ladies currently vying for his heart on the current season of The Bachelor, another couple from the hit show have locked their love down once and for all.
Yep, former Bachelorette Georgia Love and her beau Lee Elliott have officially announced their engagement, and this is the cutest thing we’ve seen since their whirlwind grand finale episode three years ago!
Sharing the exciting news to Instagram on Sunday night, Love shared a pic of the pair in an embrace along with the caption: “If you’re not busy for the next 50 or 60 years…” 💍 #YES!!”
Showing off her gorgeous engagement ring, which has a beautiful diamond on a slender silver band, the pair looked utterly ecstatic.
In true form, Lee’s post about the couple’s exciting news included a pun, which the pair are renowned for sharing on social media.
“I liked it so I put a ring on it 💍 #feyonce”
We see what you did there, Lee!
Within minutes of posting, the couple were inundated with excited friends and fans sharing their congratulations.
“Omg congratulations you two 😍😍❤️❤️,” wrote fitness and lifestyle influencer Laura Henshaw.
Meanwhile, fellow Bachelor star Jake Ellis wrote: “Finally!!!!! Congratulations you two 💕”
“I KNEW IT!!! 😍😍😍😍,” wrote former Big Brother star Tully Smyth, before adding: “CONGRATULATIONS LOVE BIRDS!”
The ample amount of capital letters and emojis filling the comments section for these two is a genuine reflection of how very exciting (and long awaited!) this news is.

And though many might be pleasantly surprised by the news, we did get a hint that an announcement wasn’t far off.
Back in July, Lee told Now To Love that he “wanted to do it right”.
“We are happy,” he said. “And so much of our relationship happened so quickly and I want to do this right, and I want to do it properly, and I will.
“But I’ll do it in ‘our’ time,” he added.
And indeed, it seems he did!
We can’t get enough of these two!

The pair first met when Georgia became Australia’s Bachelorette in 2016, and it was clear from the beginning they had a strong connection.
Hilariously, Lee brought along a donkey to his first meeting with Georgia in the fateful first episode.
He simply said to her: “Does my ass look big in this?”
And thus began a pun-filled romance for the ages!
Lee couldn’t refrain from adding some humour to his first meeting with Georgia.

“Lee made me nervous, I was a bit jittery with him, I had the butterflies,” she said.
The couple have definitely formed a rock solid relationship, which hasn’t come with the easiest of challenges thrown at them.
Just days after the show’s finale aired, Georgia tragically lost her mother to pancreatic cancer.
Though she had incredible support from Lee, it was a tough start to their new romance.
They pair have since spoken about the difficult time.
Lee recently told Now To Love: “[Georgia’s mum] was her best friend and there are so many things in her life that her mum will not get to share with her and it’s just so sad,” he said.
“Going through something like that helps strengthen any relationship, it brings you closer together,” he added.
The pair had a rocky start to their relationship, but we couldn’t be happier to see them come through it together.

“We had a very rocky first six months, and I’m not afraid to say that.”
We could not be happier for the couple, who have come out the other side stronger than ever.
