While most of us imagine celebrities meet their soulmates by rubbing shoulders at glamourous red carpet events, there are some A-list couples who first crossed paths in the most unconventional of places.

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel

The supermodel and the Snapchat founder got chatting at a Louis Vuitton event at the Museum of Modern Art in 2014, but their romance didn’t have the smoothest of beginnings.

According to Page Six, Miranda told Evan that her favorite song was Spiegel im Spiegel by composer Arvo Pärt, and the pair exchanged phone numbers. But Evan reportedly abruptly left without saying goodbye.

A month later, the Victoria’s Secret model plucked up the courage to text Evan, asking him if he had listened to the song.

The entrepreneur later revealed he didn’t contact Miranda because he didn’t think she was interested in him. The pair have since gotten married and share two sons.

Sarah Roberts and James Stewart

The Home and Away sweethearts first met during a chemistry test as part of Sarah’s audition for the role of Willow.

“I remember in my final audition for Willow, I had a chemistry test opposite Jimmy – who’s now my husband,” Sarah previously explained.

“Geoffrey the director came out and said: ‘Look I’m not going to bring you into the room first. I just want you to walk straight into the audition room and go straight into the scene’. I was like, ‘You know what? This is my third audition for Home And Away, I’m just gonna go for it.'”

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness

The love story of Hugh and Deborra-Lee is as sweet (quite literally) as it comes. After finishing drama school, the Wolverine star met Deborra-Lee on the set of his first ever acting gig Correlli.

Hugh developed feelings for the Shame actress, and eventually came clean about his crush at a dinner party while they were making crepes together.

“I got a crush on you. I’ll get over it, I’m sorry,” Hugh told her, to which she replied: “Oh? Because I’ve got a crush on you too.”

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

The NFL legend and the supermodel met in a very old school way – on a blind date! Mutual friends of Tom and Gisele set them up in 2006, and they haven’t looked back since.

“This friend told me he knew a girl version of me,” Tom said in 2009, with Gisele adding: “And he said to me he’d found a boy version of me.”

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy and John met back in 2007 when she played his love interest in the music video for his song Stereo.

But despite the glitz and glam of the way they first crossed paths, the couple had a very down-to-earth first date. After the shoot wrapped, Chrissy went back to the Grammy winner’s hotel room and the pair ate In-N-Out burgers and shared their first kiss.
