The Project host perfectly summed up the flood of conflicting emotions every new parent experiences.

Any parent knows those first few weeks with your newborn baby can be a whirlwind of emotions – full of love, exhaustion, frustration, and more love.
That's exactly what The Project host Carrie Bickmore is feeling right now, just a month after giving birth to her third child in December, an adorable baby girl called Adelaide.
It's Carrie's second child with partner Chris Walker, joining her two older children Oliver, 10, who she had with her late husband Greg Lange, and her first daughter with Chris, three-year-old Evie.
In a new Instagram post, Carrie shared a sweet photo of herself, Chris and Adelaide, with a brutally honest caption detailing some of the ups and downs she's faced in the past month since Adelaide was born.
In between Googling "what is reflux at 3am", surviving on "four hours broken sleep", a "trip back to hospital with mastitis" and "eating meals with one hand", Carrie says she's also felt a huge amount of love and joy.
She's experienced "tears of happiness, tears of exhaustion", "cuddles", "hours spent staring at Adelaide", "feeling overwhelmed", "feeling like it's all going to be OK" and "bursting with love and gratitude".

The post was flooded with supportive comments from other mums going through similar struggles.
"This is so so accurate! Sums up everything I have felt with mine minus the mastitis-you poor thing. Thanks for your honesty," one mother commented, while another said, "Couldn't have said it better myself Carrie! That list sums up the newborn fog perfectly."

Another mother wrote: "Hearing you on those ups and downs @bickmorecarrie. Ours is one month in 4 days. What did parents do without Google?"
"Ohhhhh I here you I had my fourth bubba 7 weeks ago," wrote another mother. "Experienced all you described but as you know there's the light at the end of the tunnel."
If you take one look at Carrie's adorable girl Adelaide, you'll understand why all the struggles are worth it in the end!
