Nicole Kidman is no stranger to a glamorous red carpet, but recently the 54-year-old has taken her fashion game to the next level.

The Australian icon has delighted fans with a series of sparkling appearances as she promotes her latest critically-acclaimed film, Being The Ricardos.

She wowed in a demure white frock for the film’s New York premiere, then channelled Lucille Ball’s (who she plays in the movie) timeless style for the Los Angeles red carpet.

But Nicole truly outdid herself when she returned to Sydney to introduce the film to a fresh Australian audience on Wednesday night, donning her most breathtaking look yet.

The beauty donned a glittering maxi dress by Etro, which featured tessellating art-deco designs in shades of white and green.

With short sleeves, a high neckline and hem that reached to her ankles, the dress managed to be modest while still oozing glamour and highlighting Nicole’s svelte figure.

It’s no wonder the dress looked amazing, given it costs more than $24,000!

Nicole paired the gown with an emerald green clutch from Roger Vivier and metallic Aquazzura heels, but kept her jewellery minimal to let the dress shine.

She embraced her natural curls for the occasion, wearing them in a loose bun atop her head to beat the sweltering Sydney heat.

As for makeup, Nicole kept it minimal with a neutral eye look, rosy blush and a swipe of pink lipstick that perfectly complimented her green ensemble.

Nicole’s husband of 15 years, Keith Urban, stole a kiss on the red carpet.

It’s safe to say we were in love with her look, and so was Nicole’s husband of 15 years, country music star Keith Urban.

Photos from the red carpet showed him gazing adoringly at his wife as they arrived together, walking hand in hand and sharing a few cheeky kisses as they headed into the theatre.

Keith wasn’t the only one supporting Nicole on her big night either; her mum, Janelle, also attended the premiere to cheer her daughter on.

Nicole paid tribute to her during the event, saying via the Daily Mail: “It’s very emotional for me to have my mum here.

“I also want to say that my mum ran lines with me. She played Desi Arnaz so she gets a shout out.”

Nicole also revealed that she spent plenty of time studying Lucille Ball and loved playing her in the film, adding that the comedienne’s story totally captivated her.

Her performance has gone on to captivate audiences too, earning her a Golden Globe nomination and talk of an Academy Award nomination in the coming weeks.
