Tara Pavlovic knows a thing or two about reality TV.
Not only did she appear on Matty J’s season of The Bachelor in 2017, but she also made headlines around the country after her whirlwind engagement with Sam Cochrane following their stint on Bachelor in Paradise this year.
But after the bizarre Bachelorette episode last night, the 28-year-old Bachie alum has some choice words to say about the reality of reality TV.

“I have been trying to find a way to describe how real reality TV is for about 10 months now,” she posted on her Instagram story.
“I have struggled, but I have now found the perfect description…”
“It’s about as real as two whole avocados being blended whole in a blender and nothing at all going wrong.”
Tara is of course referring to the moment when one of Ali Oetjen’s suitors Ivan Krslovic put two avos, skin and pit included, into a blender to make avocado mousse which left the nation dumbfounded.

It’s not the first time Tara has mentioned how the show’s producers tend to bend the truth.
During home-town-week on Matty J’s season, the then-Bachelor explained to Tara’s brother Troy, “I wish I could tell you right now if I was gonna end up with Tara… or not. At the moment, I don’t know the answer to that question,” to which Troy responded abruptly with, “Liar.”
But Tara was quick to shut down claims that there was drama between the two on her Instagram account.
“Nothing but laughs and happiness with these guys… So grateful I get to call these people my family.”
“Believe it or not, Troy is actually super nice #cleverediting #goeasycroey.”
Further down in the comments section, Tara later penned, “That’s not how it was. That was clever editing.”
“It was a happy conversation. Troy said liar to a whole other conversation about one of Matty’s tattoos. I feel terrible that people think Troy would have ruined it for me- he was nothing but nice.”

After her engagement to Sam Cochrane blew up with scandal after scandal, it appears Tara has moved on from her reality TV days.
She is now has a new beau by the name of Nick Sheperdson and they’re frequently seen being very cute all over each other their respective Instagram accounts.
Oh well we’ll always have the memories of that dreamy BIP proposal… Just don’t tell us this was staged!
