She’s always been fiercely protective of her personal life but over the weekend, Kate Ritchie shared a rare photo with husband Stuart Webb.

In the social media snap, Kate and and the retired NRL player Stuart cuddle up to their dog Mac.

“We love you Maccy Moo,” the 39-year-old penned alongside the pic.

Fans were quick to read between the lines, with many asking the former Home and Away star if something was wrong with their beloved pet staffie.

“I hope your beautiful boy is ok ❤️. We have a 15 year old poodle and he is ageing so much right before our eyes,” one concerned fan wrote.

“Beautiful!!! Is he ok?” Another asked.

“I hope everything is ok with your pup,” a third said.

“I hope everything is ok, has been a few posts in a row of your boy. Sharing their senior years is the best bit about dogs,” another concerned user questioned.

While Kate Ritchie didn’t comment on what exactly was happening, she did post another heartwarming photo with her dog.

This time, the mother-of-one uploaded a black-and-white snap cuddling up to her pup.

“Hugs with our old boy in the garden #maccymoo,” Kate captioned the pic.

Kate’s rare candid family moments comes amid the beloved personality shutting down divorce talks.

Last year, she told Stellar magazine they were doing just fine.

“It doesn’t hurt my feelings, not anymore. I think in the old days it did,” she said.

Kate and Stuart tied the knot in 2010 and are the proud parents to daughter Mae.

Adding: “There’s no point in getting bogged down about what other people think is happening in my life.”

Kate also revealed she’d love to have more kids with Stuart and to give three-year-old Mae more “little people” to hang out with.

“Having children is a wonderful distraction from yourself, and also opens up a brand-new world that is far greater than anything,” she explained to the publication.

We hope everything is OK with Mac!
