Prince Charles has delivered a special message to Molly Meldrum in the lead up to Countdown’s 40th birthday!
Four decades after Molly struggled through an unforgettable excruciatingly awkward interview with the famous royal, Prince Charles has broken his usual royal stance sending up Molly in his own version of the interview.
In this hilarious and extremely warm-hearted 40th birthday message, Prince Charles stumbles over his words displaying his cheeky sense of humour.
“There is an old show business saying which warns never to work with animals or children. But nobody prepared me for Molly Meldrum. Was it really 40 years ago? It only seems like yesterday. I wish it were tomorrow, I’d cancel it,” he jokes in the video.
