Be warned – If you invite Swedish royalty to your wedding, you will be upstaged.

At least, that was the case this weekend when Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Sofia and Princess Madeleine stole the show at a friend’s wedding.

An old school friend of Princess Madeleine’s, Louise Gottlieb, got married on Saturday and Madeline was more than happy to step into the role of bridesmaid.

Princess Madeleine and her husband, Chris O’Neill, who are also parents to Princess Leonore, four, and Prince Nicolas, two, welcomed their third child together just three months ago.

Talk about a good friend!

The entire Swedish Royal family turned up for the wedding, including Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gutstaf who are reported to be great friends with the brides mother and father.

The royal family, including Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel at the front.

Princess Victoria looked stunning in a dusky rose coloured, floor-length gown; her long brown hair pulled back into an elegant up-do.

Princess Sofia (who was also once glamour model, because hey, Swedish princess isn’t enough, right?!) looked stunning in a yellow, floor-length gown with a split up the side, her face framed by her chic, straight hair worn down.

Both sisters wore broaches on their right breast.

The bride and groom looked very much in love, with the wedding taking place at Holo Church in Södermanland.

It’s impossible to imagine a more idyllically fairy tale wedding, they may even give Harry and Megs a run for their money.
