The biggest royal display of the year lived up to the hype as the Queen and her dazzling affiliates stepped out to celebrate Trooping the Colour on June 8.

Held annually as a celebration for the Queen’s birthday (yes, she does get to celebrate two birthdays each year), the spectacle for 2019 promised the goods, and going by what we just saw, it well and truly delivered them too.

Thousands of spectators lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the royals at Buckingham Palace, all while enjoying the colourful display of pomp and pageantry.

Duchess Catherine and Prince William made a dazzling entrance by car, with our first glimpse of Kate looking radiant in a yellow ensemble designed by Alexander McQueen.

Then, there was particular excitement as Kate hopped into a horse carriage to enter the parade… with none other than Meghan Markle!

This marks the first time we’ve seen Duchess Meghan since she gave birth to baby Archie at the beginning of May.

Along with Duchess Catherine, Meghan sat next to her husband Prince Harry, while Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall sat next to Kate – a royal feast for the eyes!

Meghan was wearing a stunning navy blue dress designed by her wedding dress designer Clare Waight Keller, paired with a matching hat by Noel Stewart.

Meanwhile, the Queen has also made a dazzling entrance, wearing a silver tweed ensemble, in true regal fashion.

After hosting President Trump earlier in the week for his three-day UK tour, it’s been a busy time for Her Majesty, but she couldn’t be looking any livelier – what a trooper!

Also in attendance were Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who looked a vision wearing stunning bright ensembles.

Recently wed Eugenie looked gorgeous in a white and blue printed dress and hat, while sister Beatrice wore a pale pink dress with black sleeve detailing – the Yorks know how to make a statement!

And it would be safe to say we were hyped to see Kate and William’s three young children Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

While Princess Charlotte and Prince George have attended the parade is previous years, this year marks Prince Louis’ first time in attendance, as he was barely a month old for the 2018 event.

And indeed, the revered balcony appearance did not disappoint – the royals put on a colourful display as they watched the flyover, which marked the end of the parade.
