Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank enchanted the world when they got married in October 2018, and they’ve done nothing to quell the sentiment in the years since.

The royal couple have stayed on our peripheral as they continue to partake in various initiatives, revealing some aspects of their married life along the way.

We have Princess Eugenie’s unusually personal Instagram page (by royal standards, at least) largely to thank for this, as she often shares insights from her day to day endeavours, as well as plenty of throwbacks.

And as for her latest update? Well, it might just be our favourite one of all.

As she and her husband keep a low profile amid the COVID-19 pandemic, they’ve found other socially responsible ways to do their bit.

Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, the royal shared a series of pictures of herself and Jack helping the Salvation Army in the UK, where they helped fellow volunteers pack boxes with food.

The Princess wrote alongside the images: “Since 1865 the Salvation Army has been there with open doors to help so many people.”

She continued: “In the past few years I have witnessed first hand their dedication and hard work, so when they invited Jack and I to their newly created hub to pack boxes, we jumped at the chance.”

She explained how she and Jack helped the group of volunteers with trolleys of food, which would be distributed to the Army’s food banks and feed thousands across the UK.

“Their message is key – their doors are open, always have been and always will be,” she finished.

The Princess’s fans were clearly impressed with her work, with the post garnering more than 20,000 likes within hours.

“Such wonderful kindness and solidarity 💕,” commented one fan.

Another wrote to the Princess: “Love how Jack is involved, he complements you.”

Eugenie has certainly been keeping busy doing her bit to help during the UK lockdown.

In April, she and her mum Fergie were pictured helping to dispatch sweets to NHS workers as they quarantined together at the Royal Lodge.

A few weeks later, she also filmed a special clip for her mother’s new YouTube channel dedicated to reading children’s books for kids to enjoy some light entertainment during isolation.

Eugenie and Jack had a bit of a scare a few weeks back when Jack’s father George was hospitalised after testing positive to the virus.

The 71-year-old was treated and was reportedly in a serious, but stable condition.

A source who spoke to the Daily Mail at the time commented that the pair were “hugely grateful for the excellent care that he has been receiving.”

“They are thinking of all the other families who are being similarly affected at this time,” they added.
