Prince Louis recently celebrated his 20-month birthday, and as any parent knows, this is the stage when toddlers can become especially clingy, wanting nothing more than to spend every waking minute with their arms wrapped around their Mum or Dad.

And it seems despite being a royal baby, Louis certainly isn’t immune to this adorable clingy phase, as his mother Duchess Catherine recently revealed during a royal charity engagement.

Speaking to local children during a visit to a Christmas tree farm in Buckinghamshire, just outside London, to celebrate her appointment as the new royal patron of charity Family Action, Kate revealed little Louis has become super clingy lately and wants to follow her around wherever she goes.

In response to one little boy who said “Me! Me!”, holding up his hand up to get the Duchess’ attention, Kate stroked his cheek and said: “You remind me of my little Louis, he keeps saying “Me, me, me” and he wants to come everywhere with me.”

At the charity event, Kate also revealed a little anecdote about Prince George.

Kate was presented with a bunch of roses and thistles and crouched down to let some of the children smell them.

The 37-year-old Duchess explained Prince George has adopted his grandfather Prince Charles’ appreciation for the environment, adding: “George loves thistles, really spiky ones.”

Last month, the Daily Mail revealed a sweet mother-son activity Louis and Kate have been participating in together, with the Duchess spotted attending a children and parents music group with her youngest son.

The class, which costs little more than AUD $20 per session, is held each week at Monkey Music, and apparently gets very hands-on.

Kate has reportedly been heard getting “stuck in” and singing along with other parents during the fun-filled sessions.

According to The Mail, it’s likely Kate and Louis take the Heigh-Ho class, which is usually recommended for babies who are more than 12 months old.

The website states that the class includes “colourful props” which aids children’s visual memory.

“Moving and dancing freely around the room with Monkey encourages your child to express the music that they hear with their whole bodies,” the class is described.

Just imagining a young Prince Louis bopping around is almost too much cuteness to handle!
