The royal fairytale that began when Kate’s sheer dress caught William’s eye at a university fashion show has had some truly wondrous chapters.

William and Kate’s romance blossomed quickly and they were soon inseparable.

Their happy ever after was threatened in 2007 when William ended their romance, but he was back in Kate’s arms within 12 weeks.

Three years later the couple announced their engagement, married in April 2011 and are now parents to Prince George, born in 2013, and Princess Charlotte, born in 2015.

A statement released by the royal family in September 2014 said that Prince George would soon have a sibling, with the Queen said to be “delighted”. “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child,” the statement read.

The new parents introduced their little princess to the world in May 2015. The Princess was born at 8.34am local time in St Mary’s hospital. She was the first princess born into royal succession in 25 years.
