Over the weekend Bachelor success story Georgia Love and Lee Elliott (finally) tied the knot.
The couple wed at Frogmore Creek Winery in Tasmania surrounded by family and friends after the COVID pandemic ruined their plans for a Sicilian wedding, before further lockdowns saw the date moved again.
The pair shared the first snaps from their special day on Instagram over the weekend, with Georgia writing: “It was always you ✨ 05.03.21”
The couple’s posts have been flooded with well-wishes, including one from the Bachelorette’s runner-up turned Bachie, Matty J Johnson.
“Congrats guys! 🙌🙌,” Matty commented on Lee’s photo.
After losing out to Lee in the quest to win over Georgia’s heart in the 2016 season, Matty was gracious albeit heartbroken.
“I wish Lee and Georgia all the happiness with their future together. Both of you deserve nothing less,” the reality star said at the time.
Matty was Georgia’s runner-up.

“We’ve [Matty and Lee] spoken a couple of times, initially it was a bit tough because in a sense he’s the reason for my heartbreak,” he revealed to Now To Love.
“But Lee and I became really close throughout the show, you become each other’s support network and Lee was definitely that for me.”
Matty was heartbroken over Georgia’s finale decision.

“It’s hard cause you’re reliving everything and you can’t help but miss her a huge amount. You’re seeing all your dates, with the music played over the top… It’s almost like you’re falling back in love.”
Luckily the fan fave had his own time in the Bachelor spotlight, taking on the rose-wielding role where he met his fiancé Laura Byrne with whom he now shares two gorgeous girls.
