He and sister Amanda live by the mantra “gym, tan, laundry”, but a decade ago, Blake weighed around 105kg.

“At my brother’s wedding, I had to wear a XXXXL shirt to to fit my neck,” the 32-year-old reveals.

After breaking up with his girlfriend, he decided something needed to change.

“My boob just kind of lay on the bed, and I was like, ‘You know what, I need to fix that.'”

He did fix it, and found that once he did, women started looking at him differently.

“Once you lose weight, girls suddenly show interest in a more romantic way,” he says.

The reality star now weighs 78kg and is in a relationship with singer Ella Bourne, whom he met during a break from filming.

“She’s been really good and super-supportive,” he says.

Blake is competing on MKR with younger sister Amanda, with the pair scoring impressive points from the other teams – and the judges – during their instant restaurant.

They soared to the top of the leaderboard with a score of 96 out of 130. Teams including Andy and Ruby, and Ibby and Romel, are still yet to cook. Can they maintain their place in the top spot?

Blake and Amanda think they’re close sibling bond, and they’re wild culinary skills, could see them win the competition.

“Our food resembles our personality,” Blake says. “Pretty crazy, pretty wild, pretty fun, super colourful…”

“And delicious!” adds Amanda. “People will underestimate us I think.”

“But we’re going to blow everyone’s minds!” Blake says.

So far, it seems the GTL siblings are well and truly in the running to take out MKR.
