Friends and fans of Queensland father-of-three Ben Ungermann were last week congratulating him on finding love with beautiful South African radio and TV presenter Leigh-Anne Williams.
The Masterchef star, 34, and "very private" Leigh-Anne, 37, have been secretly dating for 14 months, meeting up in honeymoon destinations around the globe, including spending last New Year's Eve at Indonesian eco-resort Pulo Cinta.
Just a month later when they were in Melbourne together, Leigh-Anne, who starred on Strictly Come Dancing in South Africa and co-hosts a breakfast TV show, showed off a diamond engagement ring, prompting friends to congratulate the couple, and urge them to go public with their love story.
Ben, who credits former girlfriend of four years Alicia Miller for entering him into MasterChef in 2017, met Leigh-Anne later that year when he went to Cape Town to give cooking demos on the back of his newfound fame.
The chemistry between the couple was instant when he appeared on her Good Hope FM radio show, with a flirty Leigh-Anne telling former shoe salesman Ben that he was "very easy on the eyes".
It appears they fell in love the following year, with Leigh-Anne posting a shot of them on the Indonesian honeymoon island with a heart emoji and the caption "1 year" on March 19 to mark their special anniversary.
Ben posted a heart emoji and the word "forever".
And just last week in another public declaration of love Leigh-Anne – who is back in Cape Town – wished Ben a happy birthday on Instagram, calling him "one of the kindest, most beautiful and caring human beings I know".

The news comes after it was revealed that Ben has been booted from the show after he was arrested over a "personal matter".
He's since been unceremoniously dropped from the show over the issue and instead of being eliminated, will be simply edited out of an upcoming episode with no explanation.
