To say the Married At First Sight cheating rumours have gone wild this year is an understatement.
The latest instalment involves Stacey Hampton, who’s partnered with Michael Goonan, engaging in an affair with Mikey Pembroke, whose marriage with Natasha Spencer is very much on the rocks. And while Mikey insists that he and Stacey slept together, she alleges that their relationship never went that far.
In an exclusive video obtained by Woman’s Day, Stacey has slammed the secret affair claims and unleashed on Mikey himself.

Stacey shared an emotional video slamming the allegations that she and Mikey have an affair.
(Image: Supplied)Speaking in a recorded video message filmed from inside her car, 26-year-old Stacey revealed that she had received links to numerous articles alleging that she and Mikey had slept together.
“I sit here today and swear on anything and everything that nothing happened between Mikey and I,” she stated to the camera.
She went on to confirm that her husband Michael, 28, did indeed cheat on her and when that was going on, she was in Adelaide visiting her two young children.
“Mikey reached out, he was one of the few that reached out and said ‘Let’s do coffee and catch up. I was there that night, I’ve got a few things that I would like to tell you about what Michael said about you,'” Stacey explained.
“We went and had coffee, it was really nice and then we hung out with Ivan and Aleks, we were all friends and we were all there for each other. I even helped him on Tinder, he was showing me pictures of girls on Tinder and he was like ‘Do you think she’s hot?’ I was kind of like ‘What’s going on with your wife?'”
Stacey says she previously considered Mikey a friend.
(Images: Nine Network)Stacey went on to say that Mikey asked to partner swap with her and texted her asking to kiss her all while slamming his bride.
“He is a narcissist and everything he says is wrong, it is so wrong. I have not even spoken to him once on camera so I don’t know where this little affair’s come from. I was with my partner and if I wasn’t with my partner, I was home in Adelaide visiting my children,” she said.
“Mikey is not a nice person, he’s not. I now have to deal with the backlash that this has caused me. My children don’t need to hear these fabricated rumours about me, it’s disgusting. If it was true I would stand up and say ‘Yes I did it because my husband was out cheating on me every weekend so I had every right to just move on,’ but I didn’t.”

Stacey went on to say that at the time of filming the video, she had to drop her children off at her mum’s place to have a moment alone, adding that after hearing the rumours she was “on the cusp of breaking down.”
“I don’t know who this person is but he is not the person you’re seeing on TV and you know what, I considered him a friend until all this came out.”
Mikey continues to insist the “affair” did happen, describing their encounter as a “one-night stand”.
“I can confirm we did have sex, but it was clearly after Natasha and I had agreed with producers that our relationship was over, and Natasha knew we weren’t together,” Mikey told news.com.au.
“I actually didn’t want this (story) out as it’s not the best way to end my time on the show, but it did happen.”
Stacey confirmed that her on-screen husband Michael cheats on her.

“If they let you swap, would u do it? I’m going to see how this dinner party plays out before I decide what I’m going to do…might ask Tara what the go is,” wrote Mikey, referring to MAFS’ executive producer Tara McWilliams.
“I wanted to kiss u tonight. Don’t mean to be forward but some honesty for one can’t hurt!” said flirty Mikey.
So did the steamy night in question happen? Who knows – but with Mikey and Stacey both flinging such wild accusations, something tells us the drama from this season of MAFS will continue getting messier and messier.
