A new hunk will enter Love Island this week by the name of John James Parton – and given his history, we’re already banking on him to cause a stir!

Woman’s Day can reveal the 32-year-old DJ from Melbourne competed in the UK version of Big Brother in 2010, and fell in love with eventual winner Josie Gibson.

But after the couple broke it off in 2011 and Josie accused JJ of cheating, things turned sour – with John James branding his ex “an absolute fruit cake”.

Meanwhile, Josie told Now magazine John James used to make fun of her appearance.

“He put me through so many mind games. He used to go on about my weight all the time. He would take the p*ss out of my looks and make me feel ugly. He used to tell me I was thick,” she said at the time.

Now, more than seven years later, John James says there’s no love lost between the pair – and that Josie, who recently announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Terry, is still in contact.

“She’s crazy,” he tells Woman’s Day. “She was sending me Snapchats about a month ago and they’re the sort of pictures you wouldn’t want out there. She came back for round two!”

We’d better tune into Love Island on 9GO to see all the drama unravel!
