Tasmanian-based Farmer Nick is on the hunt for an independent woman who loves a good wine – and it certainly makes mother-of-two Marnie the perfect match!
Upbeat and fun-loving, the Birtinya, Queensland based contender says she’s here for the right reasons and certainly wasn’t going to let the other girls dim the shine on her rhinestones!
“I’m here to find love! I’m ready for to settle down with the cowboy of my dreams and a nice country man who is chivalrous,” she tells Woman’s Day.
And while she insists that landing a spot on Farmer Wants A Wife has been a dream come true, Marnie confesses it’s not her first crack at reality TV dating – she applied to be on Married At First Sight!
Marnie certainly knows how to play the blushing bride!

“Then I got an email saying that I didn’t make it through to the next stage.”
But the blonde beauty reveals it hasn’t stopped MAFS grooms from pursuing her!
Marnie says she’s struck up some banter with MAFS groom Steve Burley!

“He’s not my type, there’s nothing going on,” she says.
“I feel bad, he was totally mismatched on the show… his wife was boring as all hell!”
Farmer Wants A Wife is set to premiere on Sunday July 26 at 7pm on Seven.
