Rumours are rife about who’s hooking up with who behind the scenes on DWTS, but there’s one person you can rule out from finding love on the show: Courtney Act.
“Unfortunately, there won’t be a ‘showmance’ success story for me this season,” she says of dating someone from the show.
“But showmances do work well in these type of situations because you’re both so busy and going through similar things at the same time.”

However, it’s not to say the contender for the crown isn’t still on the lookout for a new flame.
“My best option right now is location-based dating apps,” Courtney, 37, says of her hectic touring schedule that’s seen her on the road for almost five years.
“Plus, thanks to Dancing With The Stars, I’ve got my 28-year-old body back. I was tempted to put a new head and torso shot on my dating app profile, but I chickened out! It felt a bit showy.”
And while love takes a back seat for now, Courtney is content to lean on her close friends, especially Bianca Del Rio and Adore Delano − her fellow alumni from season six of US TV hit RuPaul’s Drag Race.
“We send messages day and night, no matter where we are in the world,” Courtney says. “There’s always someone to talk to when you’re feeling happy, sad or lonely.”
