Dancing With the Stars is back for 2023 and we can’t wait to see the latest batch of celebs brush off their dancing shoes!

Fan-favourites Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger will return as hosts for the 2023 season, with the season set to kick off on Channel Seven on Sunday June, 18.

Best known for her stint on the 2017 season of The Bachelor Australia, Laura Byrne is the first celeb to announce her involvement in the show!

Talking to The Pick Up on May 11, Laura surprised listeners with her unexpected announcement.

“Laura, we have been on the edge of our seats for months now wondering what this big excitement is,” said The Pick Up host Brittany.

“I’m not pregnant … I know that you guys describe me as having rhythm in my body … I’m doing Dancing With the Stars!” Laura shared.

Charlie Albone

Charlie is ready to step out of his comfort zone.

Better Homes and Gardens star Charlie Albone is also set to take the stage for the 2023 season.

Speaking to The Morning Show, Albone shared his excitement to brush up on his dance moves.

“I’m not a dancer. I said yes for my kids, to show that you can do something you’re not comfortable with and still have fun doing it,” he said.

Matt Preston

Matt Preston is joining the competition.

Matt Preston is ditching the kitchen and is coming to the dance floor! This former MasterChef Australia judge is set to shake things up this year.

“Not long until @jessraffa.dancefit and I tear up the dancefloor…or tear up on the dance floor… or shed tears of pure joy dancing on that famous dance floor,” he wrote on Instagram.

Sally Pearson

James looks like he is ready to boogie!

It seems Channel Seven is loving athletic talent this year as Olympic swimmer, James Magnussen is joining the 2023 cast.

“The hips are loose, the posture is upright and the pearly whites are out – @natalielowe_strictly_fitsteps and I are ready to hit the dance floor,” he wrote on Instagram.

Virginia Gay
