Samuel Johnson has been crowned the winner of Dancing With The Stars 2019.

The 41-year-old actor took out the DWTS title and the glittering disco ball trophy in tonight’s grand finale, beating out runner-up Courtney Act and second runner-up Constance Hall.

The $50,000 prize-money will be going towards his charity Love Your Sister, which he began with his late sister Connie Johnson in 2012.

The charity, which aims to ‘vanquish all cancers with hard science’, has long had a goal of raising $10 million. Thanks to the Dancing With The Stars prize-money, they are one big step closer to that goal.

Samuel, who competed with dance partner Jorja Freeman, previously told TV WEEK that his sister would be “beyond proud” of him for his time on the show.

“I’ve always been a big worry for her,” the actor explains. “I’ve always been such a f—up. But I honestly think she’d look at me now and say, ‘I’m not worried about you anymore.’ It’s pretty cool.”

Pro surf lifesaver Jett Kenny and his gorgeous dance partner Lily Cornish set the rumour mill into overdrive with their sizzling onscreen chemistry from week one.

The couple had an emotional farewell during their elimination last week.

“I couldn’t be prouder of you Jett. You’ve just been amazing and I’m so lucky to have worked with you,” Lily said to Jett after they were eliminated.

“I’ve had some really good times,” Jett agreed.

“Lily has … we’ve had our ups and our downs and wanted to kill one another, but we’ve made it to the semi finals and at the start it was getting through week by week, so for her to get me here is a big feat.”
