It’s safe to say after three incarnations and 20 years on-and-off air, Big Brother is one of the biggest reality TV series of the 21st century – with the cult following to match.

So when Channel Seven revived the series last year, bringing it back for the third time after appearing on Nine and Ten, fans were delighted.

And they certainly weren’t disappointed.

The rebooted 2020 series won fans over with a fast-paced format and brutal new voting system that was dubbed Survivor meets Big Brother.

Coming off last year’s success, Big Brother is returning in 2021 and it appears one of the first contestants, a very familiar face, has already been spoiled.

Our surprise and delight at the idea of a celebrity edition of Big Brother.

According to both the So Dramatic podcast and the Daily Mail, MTV presenter, beauty YouTuber and DJ FlexMami is one of the show’s first housemates for next year’s season.

FlexMami, whose real name is Lillian Ahenkan, was spotted speaking with host Sonia Kruger at the entrance while being filmed next to two unidentified housemates.

FlexMami is reportedly a housemate in 2021.

Sonia told 7NEWS earlier this year she would delight in seeing a celebrity version of the show.

“I really feel like this new version of the show has set the tone now,” she said.

“I was just walking through Channel Seven here, and quite a few celebrities have asked me if there’s going to be a celebrity version.”

Fans could be in for a “all stars versus newcomers” style season, according to insider information obtained by New Idea.

“There’s an idea floating around… if it comes to fruition, the season will have a Survivor Champions vs Contenders vibe – a mix of old and new faces,” the source revealed earlier this year.

We’re no detectives, with the appearance of FlexMami alongside two never-before-seen housemates, it appears that could indeed be the case – and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
