Cosmopolitan’s ‘Fun Fearless Female’ Women of the Year luncheon is on now and it’s set to be the best ever, with former Prime Minister Julia Gillard to deliver the address.
Since stepping down as Australia’s first female Prime Minister, Julia Gillard has continued her fight for women’s rights, campaigning for education of girls in developing countries. She’s part of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign video too, praising her efforts for gender equality.
Those are some of many, many reasons that she’s Cosmo’s choice for the Hall of Fame Award at this year’s Fun Fearless Female Women of the Year luncheon.
Presented with the accolade by last year’s winner, Lisa Wilkinson, Ms Gillard is set to give the key note speech and present two Cosmo scholarships as part of her role as Chancellor of Ducere.
