Man proposes to girlfriend at another woman’s wedding

Doesn't that smile just scream "I'm totally, 100% happy for you"?

For most it is an unspoken rule.

A universally acknowledged guarantee that you don’t propose to your girlfriend at another woman’s wedding.

Like, just don’t do it.

A picture, posted by a user on Reddit, has surfaced this week showing a man proposing to his girlfriend in front of the bride and groom at their wedding.

The picture was captioned “Any girl’s wedding nightmare” and has the done the rounds of the internet and garnered a pretty universal side-eye.

“It’s tacky and damn it, you aren’t paying for this party, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere … you just showed up with a ring. It’s rude and tacky,” said one user.

“Rule for life: Never steal somebody else’s moment,” said another.

But today the woman who accepted the proposal – Megan from Iowa – has spoken out to deny any wrongdoing revealing the bride – her own sister – had given the idea the green light in the first place.
