Jesinta Campbell and Lisa Wilkinson turn out to WOTF judges’ luncheon

Today the judges of the Qantas Women of the Future Awards convened to deliberate over the semi-finalists and pick a Judges' Choice winner.

Jesinta Campbell and Lisa Wilkinson were among the attendees at the Qantas Women of the Future judge’s luncheon held at Aria Restaurant in Sydney today.

The event was a chance for The Weekly’s panel of judges to get together and deliberate over the semi-finalists (featured in this months’ issue) in order to choose a Judges’ Choice winner.

Apart from Jesinta and Lisa other judges to attend were Chloe Shorten, Denise Morcombe, Olivia Wirth and the Hon Julie Bishop – whose boyfriend David Panton showed up at the end of the lunch to say hello.

The Weekly’s Editor-in-Chief Helen McCabe was also at the lunch.

“It was a lot of fun spending the afternoon with this great group of women and we did get a bit distracted at times,” Helen told The Weekly online. “But, thankfully we had the Foreign Minister there who kept us focused.”

“In all seriousness though it was quite hard this year and we really debated it but I think we have a winner and she is quite a remarkable young woman.”

Other judges include the newly engaged Turia Pitt and Leigh Sales, who were unavailable to attend.
