Over in America they are deciding on who should be their next president – former senator and Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton or businessman (and fake tan fan), Donald Trump.
Tensions are riding high all across the US and the circumstances have certainly brought about some interesting events.
Here are some of the bizarre election-related things that are trending on the day the Yanks go to the polls…
A $7000 Trump cake
Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump holds an election night event in New York City and there’s a cake worth a reported $7,000 made in his likeness. The elaborate cake was apparently donated and not paid for by Mr Trump, but still… it’s ridiculous.
Pregnant woman goes into labour, stops by polling place vote before she gives birth…
As per The Huffington Post:
“The couple told The Huffington Post they arrived at the clerk’s office around 11 a.m. and that the process only took about 10 minutes. At that point, Adelstein’s contractions were about seven to 10 minutes apart.”
Roughly 14 hours after they voted Soshy delivered a healthy baby girl at Boulder Community Health Foothills Hospital. The couple named their daughter Bella Rose Brandel, “Rosey” for short.

Trump’s election parties ain’t cheap!
Another strange thing happening inside Donald Trump’s weird NYC election party is the bar’s super pricey drinks list.
The cheapest item on the menu appears to be a soft drink at $7, while a wine or “mixed drink” is an overpriced $13.00. OUCH!
