Controversial Tasmanian senator Jacqui Lambie didn't hold back during an interview on ABC's Kitchen Cabinet on Thursday night.
Speaking to host and author of The Wife Drought Annabel Crabb, Lambie said she has been eager to jump out of her parliamentary seat and take on some of her peers.
"Who would be your first victim do you reckon?" asks Crabb.
"Bernardi," spat Lambie without hesitation.
"He's just an arsehole... Typical 'Hello, I'm born with a silver spoon up my rear end'."
"I really hate that sort of attitude."
Elected as a member of the Palmer United Party, Lambie is now an independent, focused on veteran's rights, Tasmanian jobs and national security.
This isn't the first time Lambie has voiced strong opinions about some of her political peers. In an interview with The Weekly in 2014, Lambie described then Prime Minister Tony Abbott as having 'no guts' and 'no balls'.
"Females scare the crap out of him [Tony Abbott] but he's going to have to grow a pair because he has to deal with me," she said at the time.

As yet we haven't heard anything from Bernardi's office.
