To celebrate her son’s first birthday, the Australian model took to Instagram and shared a wholesome montage filled with lovely videos of little Hendrix.

Set to the tune of EZI’s euphonious cover of Take My Breath Away, the video also features touching moments of Jennifer, her husband, Jake Wall and Frankie absolutely cherishing Hendrix.

A particularly sweet part of Jen’s tribute montage is when Frankie gently kisses her little brother’s forehead.

Jennifer wrote that her youngest child is “such a happy little soul with so much spirit”.

Jennifer also captioned the post with a heartfelt message to the newest addition of the Hawkins-Wall family.

“Happy 1ST birthday to our sweet and very cheeky little man Hendrix. You came into this world faster than we had planned and kicked NICU’s butt (with some lovely helpers) and now you are such a happy little soul with so much spirit!!”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for you. I’m so proud to be your mummy!! We love you so much,” Jennifer wrote.

Friends and fans of Jen were quick to wish Hendrix a happy birthday; for instance, Sophie Monk commented on the post, “Happy birthday Hendrix”.

It’s clear that Jennifer couldn’t be happier as a mother; especially considering that she’s previously experienced fertility issues.

In a 2020 interview with Marie Claire, the Miss Universe winner opened up about experiencing a miscarriage and a two-year struggle with conceiving due to having Stage 4 endometriosis.

“There were moments when I honestly thought that I might not be able to have a baby.”

“It was really difficult to even think that and I was scared to say it out loud,” Jen shared.

She went on to say that having children was the “best thing” she’s ever done.
