Million Dollar Baby: Inside Hilary Swank’s NYC apartment

Not everyone can be a Hollywood star but for $20,000 a month you can live like one.

Not everyone can be a Hollywood star but for $20,000 a month you can live like one.

Dual Oscar-winner Hilary Swank has put her New York City apartment up for rent and the 400 West 12th Street listing certainly isn’t going to get let for cheap.

While the Million Dollar Baby star primarily resides on the West coast she has certainly spared no expense when it came to styling her 1,500-square-foot New York City condo, which she purchased for $3.64 million ($4.96 million AUD) in 2009.

The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was decorated by interior expert Mark Zeff who told Elle that he “wanted to create a place that would give her a sense of grace and harmony.”

The home – which comes furnished – has hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows to illuminate the views of the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower and the Hudson River and a reclaimed barn door – a nod to Hilary’s country roots of Lincoln, Nebraska.

The pricey home is located in the swanky Superior Ink complex which features a full-time concierge, gym, and a very crucial “party room”.
