Along with finding 37 different ways to cook pasta and binge-watching Sweet Magnolias, one of the silver linings we’ve enjoyed most about being stuck in isolation is Jules Sebastian’s lockdown style.

The stylist, influencer and wife of singer Guy Sebastian has been sharing photos of her cosy and chic iso outfits with her 164,000 Instagram followers – and Jules’s fans have been so quick to snap up some of her clever bargain buys that they’ve repeatedly sold out.

Jules has encouraged us to upgrade from our trackies and PJs, proving that you can still work from home, do the school run, or just chill on the couch doing absolutely nothing, while still looking put together.

And after doing a little stalking, we’ve realised that there are four simple clothing items that Jules regularly incorporates into her isolation outfits.

They’re affordable, comfortable, and you probably already have at least one of these hanging in your wardrobe at home.

So to help us transition out of our daggy at-home-only isolation clothes and back into the real world – remember when we used to actually get dressed everyday? – we present Jules’s four isolation style staples.

Jules showed her followers how she styled one item – this neutral camel-coloured jumper – three ways. Once for the school run, once for the office and another for date night.

One of Jules’ simple, yet stylish, iso outfits is a leopard print midi skirt, an oversized dark T-shirt and sneakers.

We love it because it looks cool and effortless, plus it’s super flattering and can easily hide those extra quarankilos.

Jules’s skirt is from Glassons – we’ve found her exact skirt online here – and it’s only $40!

Talking to her followers in a recent Instagram video, Jules revealed she bought the skirt just a few weeks ago, as Glassons was one of the few shops still open at the time, and it has since become a firm favourite in her wardrobe.

We’ve also found another budget-friendly high street dupe below.

Last month, Jules’s followers went nuts when she posted a photo of herself wearing a yellow $20 Big W jumper (pictured above).

The exact colour and style quickly sold out online, but the jumper is still available in a different colours (see photo below), plus you can nab loads of similar jumpers still from Big W’s website.

The wear-with-anything jeans

Jules showed her followers how she styles these vintage Levi’s jeans three ways – soccer mum, work meeting and drinks with the girls.

Pale blue jeans are an easy wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down, as Jules as shown in this photo above.

She prefers classic denim brand Levi’s, and we’ve found a similar dupe for her vintage pair below.

Easy-breezy button-down shirts

An oversized shirt looks chic, but still hides a multitude of sins.

Jules is a big fan of the classic button-down shirt, but she tends to veer towards more relaxed boyfriend styles that are slightly oversized, as opposed to the classic fitted business shirt.

These shirts can easily be dressed up or down. They’re perfect for Zoom or office meetings, but can also be styled as part of a more casual look with jeans and sneakers when you’re off-duty.

Stick to natural fibres like cotton or linen (we’ve found a 100 per cent linen shirt below), as these wash and dry easily and will last for years to come.

Zara linen shirt with pockets, $55.95 from Zara. Buy it online here. It also comes in blue, pale pink, dark pink, and mustard.
